North Lake Tahoe Snowfest
North Lake Tahoe's Snowfest is a 10-day winter carnival with numerous events and activities celebrating the Lake Tahoe winter scene. Fun to be had by all ages..be it kids, families, adult only, or animal events...SnowFest! has it all! Snowfest began in spring of 1982. The event celebrates life in the High Sierra and features: parades, fireworks, a Polar Bear Swim, an Iditarun, the Snowfest! Queen, a pancake breakfast and much more.

WinterWonderGrass Tahoe Music & Brew Festival
The Music. The Brews. The Mountains.Come to North Lake Tahoe's unique, boutique festival gatherings of bluegrass, roots and string bands, craft breweries, whiskeys and local brands. WinterWonderGrass is 3 days of world-class Bluegrass/Acoustic Roots music, CA and NV craft breweries and beer tasting all under the snow covered peaks at Squaw Valley. WinterWonderGrass is an all ages family event, must be 21+ to purchase alcohol. Event is outdoors in the winter and takes place snow, rain or shine.

To experience Lake Tahoe in summer is truly a great great great of great experiences. Travel to Lake Tahoe to watch or join in on "The OLDEST Relay Race in America" a relay race for member groups of of 7 runners, each will trek 8 to 12 miles around the arch of the enigmatic Lake Tahoe Basin. Each relay will travel 72 miles the event closes at 8:00pm, all participants have 15 hours to complete the loop.
