The Trail of the 49ers Interpretive Center and its gift/book store tell the story of the California Trail as it passes through Elko County in Northeastern Nevada.
The Trail of the 49ers consists of artifacts, documents and animal displays along with a period covered wagon. With our display we tell the story of the California trail as it winds through Northeastern Elko County and the many hurdles the travelers faced each and every day on the trail.
The Trail Center also houses the Wells Chamber of Commerce and its Visitors Center, where you can find answers to your traveling questions all in one stop.
