POSTPONED TO 2021
JOIN US IN CELEBRATING OUR WESTERN CULTURE
Founded in 1851, the Town of Genoa is the oldest settlement in Nevada. The Western culture is the foundation of our history and character.
Genoa Western Heritage Days is a celebration of that culture and our community. We invite all to come out to our picturesque town and celebrate the Spirit of the West.
The weekend begins Friday April, 24, at 7:00 p.m. with a Town Hall performance.
Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., attendees can amble throughout Genoa for Native American demonstrations, western music, cowboy poetry, Chautauqua actors portraying historic characters, children’s activities, Dutch oven cooking, historic tours and much more. Events and performances are free and family friendly.
Food and drinks are available throughout town for purchase. Many local restaurants have specials and performers for your enjoyment.
Sunday, April 26, at 9 a.m., join the Genoa Community Church for Cowboy Church in the Town Hall.
