Virginia City Hillclimb

The annual Virginia City Hillclimb is managed by local volunteers and the Pacific Region of the Ferrari Club of America. The 5.2 mile paved roadway on Highway 341 between Silver City at the starting gate and to the top at the southern end of Virginia City (affectionately known at the Truck Route to the local drivers). Then the drivers attempt to hold these their massive, supercharged engines back down to Silver City to the starting gate, the cruise portion of the loop on Nevada Highway 342 that connects non-truck traffic from Silver City to Virginia City through a historic region known as the Comstock. The stretch of highway has 21 turns before the finish line.
