Winnemucca’s Ranch Hand Rodeo is the largest and most exciting in Nevada. 32 teams compete for bragging rights and prizes in Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Stopping, Wild Mugging, Trailer Loading, Team Roping, Ranch Doctoring, and Team Branding. Free admission to Wednesday — Friday events and the Ranch, Rope and Performance Horse Sale on Saturday evening. North Lake Tahoe's Snowfest is a 10-day winter carnival with numerous events and activities celebrating the Lake Tahoe winter scene. Ely Film Festival
Ely’s inaugural film festival takes place March 13-15, 2020 throughout the city. Celebrating Ely’s rich film history, this annual event will showcase the cinematic creations that were filmed here over the years. The film festival also gives attendees the chance to meet the directors and crew and engage in discussion about those films.
